Description

The Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine offers fellowship programs that give otolaryngology residency graduates the opportunity to train in the sub-specialty of their choosing, thereby preparing them for a more effective and successful practice. In addition to their training obligations, fellows will support residents' educational experiences.  We are seeking three candidates for a one year fellowship in the following areas:

 

Endocrine

Emphasis: Train and participate in tertiary care level Endocrine Head and Neck Surgery procedures for adults in both the in and outpatient setting.

 

Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction

Emphasis: Development of comprehensive knowledge of the diagnosis, treatment, and management of complicated head and neck surgical diseases.

 

Laryngology

Emphasis: Development of competency in the diagnosis and treatment of voice, swallowing, and airway disorders, as well as exposure to their multidisciplinary medical and surgical treatments.

 

Rhinology

Emphasis: Development of an increased awareness of rhinology and allergy disorders, and exposure to their multidisciplinary medical and surgical treatments.

 

Otology

Emphasis: Train and participate in tertiary care level Otology Surgery procedures for adults in both the in and outpatient setting.

 

Facial Plastics

Emphasis:  Train and participate in facial plastic surgery including a full range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.
