Who We Are:

The Gordon Lab pioneers advanced experimental and computational approaches to map functional pathways, focusing on viral pathogenesis and immunology. Located next to the CDC, with ample access to BSL facilities at Emory, we are located at a nexus of infectious disease research, and our location in the Emory Vaccine Center with the Pathology Translational Research Unit provides extraordinary collaboration opportunities with world-leading immunologists. Furthermore, our affiliation with Georgia Tech through the Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering enables transformative collaborations in technology development. Our research program includes both academic and industry collaborations.

Our Culture:

We strongly believe that the best science emerges from an environment of generous collaboration, reinforced by a culture of learning, curiosity, and the sharing of skills and advice. In considering new members of our group, we value a positive can-do attitude, evidence of previous success in laboratory environments, attention to detail, and cultural add.

This is a superb opportunity for a sharp scientist to rapidly develop new research skills and spearhead impactful projects in a supportive learning environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A doctoral degree or equivalent (Ph.D., M.D., ScD., D.V.M., DDS etc) in an appropriate field. Excellent scientific writing ability and strong oral communication skills.
