Job Description:
- Provide psychiatric care to new patients with expertise in geriatric mental health.
- Supervise fellows, residents, and medical students in a dynamic clinical environment.
- Conduct quality assessments and participate in case conferences to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Engage in research, including clinical studies, quality improvement initiatives, and the development of evidence-based practices and specialty treatments.
- Participate in administrative and educational meetings to contribute to the growth and development of our academic community.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with completion of a four-year psychiatry residency and geriatric psychiatry fellowship.
- Board certification or board eligibility in psychiatry with additional specialized training in geriatric psychiatry.
- Medical license in the State of Georgia or eligible for licensure.
