Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring that all security protocols are followed diligently. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in safeguarding property and preventing theft or damage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to observe activities and identify potential threats.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the premises.
• Provide assistance during emergencies, utilizing CPR and first aid skills when required.
• Document incidents and prepare reports for management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure compliance with legal standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is highly desirable.
• Certification in CPR and first aid is a plus.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
