We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to any incidents or alarms.
- Enforce security policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises, identifying potential security risks.
- Manage conflicts effectively using de-escalation techniques.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Provide first aid and OR CPR assistance as needed in emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Participate in ongoing training programs related to security practices and protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid armed security officer certification is required.
- Previous experience in law enforcement or .
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in loss prevention strategies is an asset.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
