Maintenance Technician - 1st & 3rd Shift

Job Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility in Twinsburg, Ohio. This is a hands-on role responsible for complex mechanical and electrical maintenance, ensuring peak performance of production equipment and plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks on production machinery and facility systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical/electronic, and combustion system issues.
• Interpret ladder logic using SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software to identify and correct equipment faults.
• Modify positions and resolve faults on ABB robots (Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, M6700).
• Install, align, and relocate manufacturing equipment as needed.
• Operate machine shop tools with a moderate level of precision and efficiency.
• Conduct both gas and electric welding.
• Document repairs and maintenance tasks, maintaining organized and clean workspaces.
• Carry out preventive and proactive maintenance on all relevant plant systems.
• Support additional duties as assigned by supervisors or team leaders.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience with Allen Bradley systems, hydraulics, robotics, and welding.
• Must be highly skilled in troubleshooting die casting machine cells via PLCs and electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Hands-on experience with ABB robots and ability to diagnose/modify robotic functions.
• Solid understanding of industrial controls and safety protocols.

Education:

• Completion of some college coursework or technical/vocational certification in relevant fields.

• This position is physically demanding and requires work in a high-volume production environment.
• Candidates must have direct experience in a manufacturing setting working with heavy industrial equipment. Experience in non-industrial environments such as Amazon or retail logistics will not meet the requirements.
