Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain survey equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure quality and thoroughness in all surveying tasks.
- Manage survey trucks, tools, and equipment for optimal efficiency.
- Work closely with project teams to meet budget and productivity goals.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a high level of preparedness.
- Provide workflow improvement suggestions and cost-saving strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in surveying or a related role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead survey staff in a team environment.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Experience reading and interpreting construction plans.
- Prior experience as a Crew Chief is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Occasional overtime and travel may be required based on project needs.
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying equipment.
- Ability to kneel, stoop, and reach as necessary for fieldwork.
