Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide patient observation to monitor physical and emotional well-being.
- Facilitate social interactions and community engagement through planned activities and outings.
- Support individuals in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment within group home settings.
- Document progress and report any changes in behavior or health to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with team members to create individualized support plans tailored to each person's needs.
Skills
- Experience in direct support or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of assisted living environments is beneficial.
- Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in behavior or health status.
- Ability to prepare meals and manage dietary needs effectively.
- Certification in CPR is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach toward caregiving.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
