Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
- Layout and create physical control box features by, drilling, tapping, and hole punching as schematics illustrate.
- Assemble complete control panel boxes including installing relays, circuit breakers, HMIs, plugs, switches, solenoids, wire ways, din rails, terminal blocks/strips, grounding points, etc. by following electrical schematics, drawings, and other related documentation
- Conduct functionality and continuity tests of electrical assemblies as required
- Promptly report material shortages and schematic/BOM issues
- Perform plant maintenance activities within the scope of capabilities

Role Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of high school education, a Technical School certificate in an electrical discipline is highly desired
- Must have solid knowledge and understanding of electricity and electro-mechanical components
- 2-4 years’ experience assembling electrical control panels and boxes is required
- Familiarity and understanding of NFPA70 NEC electrical standards
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Ability to read, understand, and follow electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical assemblies
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency
Beneficial Skills and Experience
- Experience repairing typical shop and facility equipment beneficial
- Ability to fabricate and install conduit and wire runs is desirable
- Capability to operate forklifts and scissors lift beneficial
Physical Requirements
- Work environment includes regular exposure to manufacturing areas that require the use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing, and foot protection
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and stand
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working on a scissors lift
