This position will support the rehabilitation and wellness of our residents by assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions aimed at improving their daily living skills and overall functionality. Responsibilities of the PRN Occupational Therapist:
- Assess and evaluate patients’ physical, mental, and emotional needs, identifying any challenges to daily living activities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Provide direct therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve patient mobility and daily function.
- Educate patients and their families on techniques to maintain and improve daily living skills.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Ensure that all patient information is kept confidential in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and enhance patient care.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

- MUST HAVE a valid and current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Florida.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.

- Flexible and adaptable to meet patient care needs.
