What We Are Looking For
- Post secondary education in a Human Resources related field of study
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in Human Resources in a fast paced environment, construction or similar field experience is a plus
- If you hold your PHR, that is an added bonus
- experience with administration of leaves of absences (FML, etc.)
- experience with Worker's Compensation claims
- exposure to talent acquisition, including campus recruiting/relations
- exposure to payroll and benefits administration
- experience with Ceridian Dayforce

- Acting as the main point of contact for all HR (People & Culture) related inquiries, including but not limited to payroll queries, coaching employees on performance, etc.
- Support the delivery and deployment of People & Culture programs and processes by fostering and maintaining strong internal relationships with key business leaders and stakeholders
- Ensure all People & Culture administration is completed including, but not limited to employee hiring and onboarding, changes and terminations
- Lead talent acquisition activities for region by supporting leaders in sourcing and attracting key talent, as well as ensuring timely completion of the complete talent acquisition cycle
- Operate as a key support to the business as it drives engagement by supporting the communication of the engagement survey process, the communication of the engagement results and the coordination of development of action plans
- Ensure all required reporting and analytics are measured for the region, identifying trends and areas of opportunity for improvement
- Arrange and attend campus relations activities in accordance with the Campus Relations Program to support the growth of our future talent pipeline
- Administer the orientation and onboarding of all newly hired employees, ensuring that they are provided with the tools, resources and training to be successful
