What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years experience in new home construction industry.
- Proficient in Excel and Builder Accounting and Purchasing software systems (FAST, JD Edwards, BuildPro, Newstar).
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interpret and convey information clearly.
- In-depth knowledge of construction trades, building materials, plan reading, and the overall construction process.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills to assess project needs, perform takeoffs, and secure optimal pricing.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

- Contractor & Bid Management – Screen and qualify contractors, prepare and distribute bid packages, analyze proposals, and recommend bid awards.
- Cost Analysis & Negotiation – Prepare project estimates, conduct bid comparisons, negotiate pricing, and source cost-effective, high-quality materials.
- Vendor & Contract Administration – Set up new vendors, manage contracts, track price agreements, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Software & Data Management – Accurately input and audit contract pricing in accounting and purchasing software while maintaining data integrity.
- Blueprint & Takeoff Analysis – Read and interpret blueprints, conduct takeoffs, validate quantities on-site, and assist with plan value engineering.
