Empire Digital Products is an Authorized Dealer of Copier & Document Management Solutions.
Due to our continued growth, we are expanding our Service Division.
We are looking for motivated hands-on Field Service Technicians. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and customer service driven. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-quality service organization with growth potential.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Accurately diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment in optimum operating condition at customer sites
· Receive, prioritize, and accurately close service calls remotely
· Provides customer support by providing training; responding to requests; resolving problems both on-site and on the telephone
· Assist with equipment installations as needed
· Manage and maintain a highly accurate parts inventory
· Keep current with new technology through off-site manufacturer's classes and online training
· Communicate equipment problems and solutions to fellow technicians
Requirements:
· A high school diploma or equivalent; or industry related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record and reliable transportation
· Minimum 2 years mechanical and electrical support experience, on digital copiers and/or laser printers
· Must be able to install/re-install/diagnose a network MFP (includes scanning)
· Network connectivity skills to conduct new installations without assistance and interface with customers IT contacts. Must also be able to provide network connectivity assistance to teammates and customers including remote assistance
· Customer service oriented
· Strong communication skills
· Able to work independently, under pressure at customer sites and to accept direction on given assignments
· Able to handle and solve new challenges, demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn
· Professional appearance and manner skills
