Summary
As an ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining SAP applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze business requirements, and implement solutions to enhance and optimize SAP functionalities. The role requires strong programming skills in ABAP, a deep understanding of SAP modules, and the ability to work on various SAP projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The SAP ABAP Developer is responsible to:
- Develop and maintain SAP programs using ABAP programming language.
- Customize and enhance SAP applications based on business requirements.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing ABAP code.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to integrate SAP modules and third-party systems.
- Design and implement interfaces to connect SAP with external applications.
- Identify and implement performance enhancements in ABAP programs.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and optimization.
- Create technical specifications and documentation for ABAP programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of coding, testing, and implementation activities.
- Develop and execute unit tests for ABAP programs.
- Collaborate with testing teams to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.
- Provide support for SAP applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Education and/or Experience
Required
Minimum 3 years of ABAP experience including:
- Cross functional experience (MM/FI/SD/WM)
- CDS Views
- Activation and Development of Fiori Tiles
- ALV
- BAPI
- BADI
- SMARTFORMS
Preferred Experience:
- Designing and developing integration strategies with 3rd party systems
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of data interfaces
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of EDI processes in SAP ECC6.0
- Experience with TrueCommerce Transaction Manager helpful but not required
- Experience with SAP Enhancement Framework
