## Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and account management.
## Responsibilities
· Promote and sell event spaces and services offered by our venue
· Manage and fill Empire Event Center calendar
· Determine sales goals
· Meet with clients one on one and in group settings
· Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
· Meet, build and maintain customer relationships
· Serve as our primary point of contact for events and parties
· Create event proposals and presentations tailored to clients' requirement
· Understand clients needs and objectives for event and provide suitable solutions
· Collaborate with clients and internal teams to plan and organize events
· Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to close sales and secure bookings
· Learn and use our sales management system (Infusion)
· Create and maintain BEO (banquet event order) paperwork for each booking
· Ensure all bookings are accurately documented and communicated to relevant departments
· Coordinate logistics such as catering, audiovisual needs, decoration, lighting
· Work with Banquet Manager and leads to ensure proper execution of event
· Collaborate with our chef on menu requests, allergies, and pricing
· Hold weekly BEO meetings with the banquet team to go over details, updates and all aspects of the event are efficiently communicated and gone through
· Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event planning and execution process
· Assist with accounts receivable by providing accurate billing and collecting payment
· Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback from clients to improve service offerings
· Help with ordering and maintaining proper supply of items needed
· Work with team to develop and design promotional materials and advertising
· Assist in developing promotions, specialty packages or marketing strategies to promote event spaces, and attract entice new customers
## Requirements
· Three years of food service required
· Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or event management industry
· A High School degree required, bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, or a related field preferred
· Event planning experience preferred
· Sales experience
· Organizational and communication skill
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
