We currently have an opening for a Territory Sales Representative who will be responsible for maximizing sales of supplier brands to the trade through effective territory planning, selling, merchandising, and communication.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Merchandising: Strategize and preplan on how to achieve sales and merchandising objectives by understanding company pricing and product programming information, creating an efficient routing pattern, and analyzing account opportunities.
- Customer Service: Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, educate account staff on priority brands, and maintain customer relationships.
- Inventory Management: Understand and work with management on inventory levels, alerting them to fluctuations in demand.
- Performance Goals: Attain standards of performance goals by achieving distribution, volume, and activity goals set by management.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of two years in sales or industry-related experience required.
- Skills: Results-oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills, strong customer service skills, ability to multi-task, and proficient PC skills.
