Working Foreman Commercial Fence
Job Summary:
This position requires a construction minded individual. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation of high-quality fences for commercial properties. You will lead a team of dedicated fence installers, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Follow schedules and monitor attendance of crew members to maintain the timeline of job(s)
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities to meet project goals
- Supervise and train crew members
- Resolve problems when they arise
- Report on-site progress to superintendent or project manager
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
- Clean and ensure all equipment is in proper working order
- Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Translate job tasks to co-workers in ways they can understand
- Look over layout
- Calculate concrete requirements accurately
- Coordinate materials/equipment timelines and deliveries
- Proficient in reading blueprints
- Forecast manpower needs
- Oversee daily safety/housekeeping
- Ability to manage people
- Read and interpret grade stakes
- Verify the one call is complete and all markings have been identified
- Communicate day-to-day progress
- Jobsite forecasting
- Corrective Action Forms
- Evaluations with crew (60-Day and other evaluations)
- OSHA 10, working toward OSHA 30
- Class A CDL preferred
Qualifications:
High school or equivalent is required
US work authorization is required
Valid driver’s license is required, reliable transportation, a CDL is a plus
Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Demonstrate ability to work independently while also able to work in a team setting
Willing to work M-F with weekends, 8–12-hour shifts, and overtime when needed
Ability to use a variety of hand tools and all power tools
Ability to operate heavy equipment, i.e. skid loader, telescoping boom lift, etc.
OSHA 30 (Preferred)
