Overview
The Receiver Coordinator is a key in-person role responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of incoming shipments in our Atlanta Warehouse. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent organizational skills and a focus on maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple teams, resolve discrepancies promptly, and support seamless warehouse operations in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
Accurately receive, inspect, and document all incoming goods, ensuring alignment with purchase orders and addressing any damages or discrepancies.
Maintain and update accurate records of received goods, including packing slips, purchase orders, and inventory adjustments.
Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure proper processing and storage of goods.
Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all goods meet company standards.
Prepare items for shipping, detailing contents, delivery methods, and logistical requirements.
Provide administrative support to the warehouse team, including maintaining logs and generating reports on receiving activities.
Ensure OpenDock contains accurate shipment information at all times.
Communicate with the Dock Supervisor to forecast labor needs for the receiving department.
Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Support additional tasks as required by management to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in receiving operations, inventory management, or a related administrative role within a warehouse setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas, and familiarity with inventory management systems or tools.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external partners.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures specific to warehouse operations.
Physical ability to safely lift up to 30 lbs.
Problem-solving skills to address and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
