Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit.
- Utilize pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient loading and unloading of heavy items.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including tracking deliveries and obtaining signatures upon receipt.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience operating a pallet jack, forklift, or similar equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks as required by the job.
- Proficiency in driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing deliveries.
