Electrical Assembler

The Electronics Assembler is responsible for soldering electronic components, including both surface mount and through-hole devices, onto printed circuit boards for a range of sub-assemblies. Working under moderate supervision this role involves assembling a variety of electrical and mechanical products according to written procedures, technical drawings, and workmanship standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solder electronic components (surface mount and through-hole) onto printed circuit boards.
• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components as part of various products.
• Build small, complex assemblies and biomedical devices.
• Follow written procedures, drawings, and established standards to ensure quality and precision.
• Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electronics or assembly is a plus.
• Experience soldering electronic components and working with printed circuit boards.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical assembly processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic systems is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience assembling biomedical or precision devices.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and inspection processes.

Salary info:

$18 - $23 / hr
