Key Responsibilities :

Leadership and Team Development :

Manage personnel, resources, and budgets to meet operational objectives.
Promote safety, quality, and performance management initiatives throughout operations.

Operations Management :

Lead daily activities of the operations team, including purchasing, manufacturing, and planning within the ERP system.

Prioritize customer demand schedules, resolving conflicts with production facilities.

Ensure timely ordering of materials to support planned production activities.

Maintain optimal raw material inventory levels for manufacturing operations.

Collaborate with engineering to address capacity constraints and align labor and equipment lead times with production goals.

Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers and customers when needed.

Support engineering project management by coordinating pre-production work that uses production resources.

Performance and Improvement :

Drive efforts to meet or exceed delivery metrics and customer expectations.

Oversee inventory counts, corrections, and submit valuation reports to the finance team.

Communicate material and manufacturing cost structures to stakeholders as needed.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives, standardizing processes, and documenting best practices.

Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities in collaboration with key stakeholders.

ERP and Systems Coordination :

Collaborate with corporate and facility-level ERP teams to ensure consistent, efficient system usage.

Utilize ERP tools to optimize operations, with an emphasis on Epicor experience.

Additional Duties :

Maintain flexibility to support other operational needs as required.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.

5 years of experience in manufacturing and production, with at least 3 years in operations management or a related support role.

Demonstrated leadership experience, with 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role preferred.

Proficiency in ERP systems (Epicor experience is a plus) and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive operational enhancements.

Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. safely and perform tasks requiring range of motion, including climbing, walking, standing, and stooping for extended periods.
