JOB SUMMARY:
Provide quick, efficient parts service to Will Call customers. Store and distribute the parts that are scheduled for Will Call customer pickup. Assist in other parts areas as directed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Notifies customers when any critical back-order parts arrive. Distributes parts to customers. Notifies customer of overdue parts in Will Call.
Receives credit return parts from customers. Receives exchange cores from customers.
Maintains the Will Call area. Safely operates material handling equipment. Corrects unsafe situations immediately.
Promotes novelty sales and adjust inventory. Accepts COD work orders. Balances cash box.
Works safely at all times. Adheres to all applicable safety policies. Complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works within and promotes corporate values.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have interpersonal skills to professionally assist customers and employees.
Must have mathematical skills sufficient to count parts and packages, total Parts Sales Orders, Credit Memos and Cash Sales Reports, and balance cash drawer.
Must be able to safely operate material handling equipment.
Ability to maintain consistent attendance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Previous experience in all Parts Department areas preferred.
Minimum 6 months warehouse or other parts related experience with parts recognition, freight methods and parts procedures.
Ability to converse in Spanish preferred.
Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
