Please contact Human Resources if you require an accommodation.BASIC FUNCTION: The Program Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing data collection, reporting and research activities for the direct fund programs at NY Ventures, including SSBCI compliance and other special projects as well as administration oversight of the Pre-Seed and Seed Fund. This role will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and summarizing data and creating reports to support and evaluate metrics including program compliance. It will also support the NY Ventures team with research activities and diligence, or other similar tasks related to sourcing and evaluation of potential investments. This person will serve on an integrated team where they are expected to cross train and support other areas of work as directed.WORK PERFORMED: • Maintaining data and metrics about portfolio companies and program overall, drafting and finalizing the preparation of reports for various stakeholders including internal and external such as legislators and the US Treasury• Support the investment team members by conducting research and diligence for the direct fund investment programs and portfolios. This includes pipeline research to identify potential opportunities, market mapping and sizing, competitive market identification and analysis, customer/partner reference calls and other general industry research. • Support the oversight of the Pre-Seed and Seed Fund including monitoring the application portfolio, assigning applications to reviewers, supporting the review of those applications and the administrative aspects of moving proposals forward for investment.• Working with Operations Associate on internal investment processes, including communication with portfolio companies and other program partners as needed, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure processes and documentation are efficient and compliant.• Provide administrative oversight of marketing and promotion of NY Ventures activities to various stakeholders including with social and other outlets.• Maintain up to date systems and information on the NY Ventures’ portfolio of companies and direct fund programs data and tracking tools as required. This includes collecting and reviewing quarterly financial information, maintaining investment data, preparing company updates, and constructing professional presentation materials as requested.• Support the organization of internal events and collaborations with external partners related to the fund’s activities• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Education Level required: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, legal, business administration, or related field.Equivalent Experience required: 2 years’ experience working in finance, venture, consulting, banking, start-up high growth business, or community/economic development.Knowledge and skills required: Excellent organizational, writing, researching, and communication skills. Ability to independently collect data. Detail oriented, excellent at following and improving processes. Strong coordination skills and ability to work with many different collaborators and other departments.Familiarity with legal documents a plus.
