What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Start Paraprofessional 2024-2025 School Year position at Empire Union School District?

Empire Union School District ... A place dedicated to each school of our children, devoted to our whole community, defined by our ideals, and providing the finest elementary education in the Central Valley. Work Days: Monday - Friday, 7 hours per day. 7:45-3:15 with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.
Bilingual is preferred
Education:
• Valid California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher level permit
• OR
• CDA credential (Child Development Associate by the Council for Professional Recognition)
• AA or BA in Child Development/related field or enrolled in a program that will lead to an AA or BA degree is preferred.
Experience:
• One year of paid or volunteer experience working with children in an educational or child care setting is highly desirable; or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.
Salary : $18 - $21
