Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves operating and maintaining embroidery machines to ensure high-quality production. The ideal candidate will handle orders from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient output while maintaining equipment and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and review production orders.
- Scan orders into the computer system to determine required thread color.
- Load the specified thread into the embroidery machine.
- Monitor the embroidery machine during operation to ensure proper functionality.
- Replenish thread as needed to prevent downtime.
- Replace broken needles promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Inspect finished embroidery for quality assurance.
- Package completed orders accurately and prepare them for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform basic maintenance on embroidery machines as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with embroidery machines is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced production setting.
- Standing and light lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required.
