Job Title: Facility Technician

Salary: $55,000/year Benefits
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend on-call availability
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Gateway Facility Technician to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. In this role, you will perform routine inspections, address minor repairs, and coordinate with contractors for larger projects. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining critical building systems and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs across the facility.
- Complete minor repairs (e.g., windows, doors, furniture).
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including plumbing and electrical issues.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for major repairs, upgrades, and routine maintenance.
- Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC, UPS, generators, lighting, and security.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies required for facility upkeep.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 2-3 years of experience in facility maintenance or related field.
- Additional training or certification in facility maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards (e.g., fire codes, OSHA regulations).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work at moderate heights (e.g., scaffolding).
- Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer.
- Occasional travel (domestic and international) for short- and medium-term assignments, valid passport required.
- Flexible availability, including after-hours work and on-call shifts to support 24/7 network operations.
