As an HSE Analyst – Level II, your primary focus will be on environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives, with an emphasis on air and water waste management. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 standards, supporting audits, and driving environmental performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign and track safety training based on site safety training matrices through the Cummins Learning Center.
- Extract and analyze HSE data, including training progress, audits, corrective actions, and key metrics, to drive improvements.
- Develop presentations for leadership using HSE data insights.
- Maintain and update HSE SharePoint sites and Teams pages, ensuring seamless team communication and organization.
- Organize and manage team meetings, workshops, and in-person HSE events.
- Create and maintain HSE-specific Power BI reports, transforming complex data into actionable insights.
- Monitor and support environmental compliance efforts, with a strong emphasis on air and water waste management.
- Ensure site compliance with ISO 14001 standards, assisting in audits and implementing necessary improvements.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement effective controls to minimize hazards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance environmental and safety performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical/scientific field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HSE analysis, compliance, and environmental risk assessment.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of environmental management systems (EMS) and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing air and water waste programs.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 standards and ability to support certification efforts.
- Proficiency in data mining, trend analysis, and performance measurement.
- Ability to conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent reoccurrences.
- Experience in Power BI, SharePoint, and HSE-related data management tools.
- Excellent communication skills to engage diverse teams and leadership.
- Strong planning and prioritization abilities to align with business objectives.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $32.81 - $35.00 per hour
