Maintenance Technician - Keep Our Operations Running Smoothly!
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to minimize equipment downtime and maximize efficiency in our fast-paced environment. If you're a problem-solver with a passion for keeping machinery in top condition, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Quickly locate, diagnose, and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
- Perform both reactive and proactive maintenance, including preventative/predictive tasks, aiming for zero downtime and 100% efficiency.
- Utilize the SAP system to accurately manage and maintain parts inventory levels.
- Execute changeovers and complete overhauls on packaging and canning machinery.
- Repair and adjust conveyor tracks, gearboxes, and motors.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot plant-wide systems including water, steam, air, and water cooling systems, along with associated pumps and valves.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
- Experience with packaging and/or canning machinery is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems (SAP preferred).
