Job Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing first-line support for all production and assembly machinery, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:
- Preventative Maintenance: Regularly inspect and service machinery according to established schedules to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose malfunctions in industrial equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems) and perform necessary repairs by replacing parts or adjusting settings.
- Machine Installation and Alignment: Install new machinery, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Technical Documentation: Read and interpret technical manuals to understand equipment operation and repair procedures.
- Basic Welding and Fabrication: Perform minor welding or fabrication tasks as needed for repairs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including parts used, repair details, and equipment status.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize tools such as MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), lean manufacturing techniques, and root cause analysis to optimize performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Basic welding and fabrication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
