Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Circuitry & Prototyping:
Design, develop, debug, modify, test, and assemble electrical circuits and systems, utilizing current tools, analysis techniques, and technologies. Work from schematics, diagrams, written instructions, or verbal guidance.
- Documentation & Testing:
Write reports, memos, and change requests to document, evaluate, analyze, and verify electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and prototypes. Follow approved procedures and standards.
- Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving:
Track and resolve electrical development issues, including test setups, circuit/device problems, and system errors. Maintain detailed records using approved tracking tools and problem-solving methods.
- Lab Management:
Maintain detailed lab notebooks, test reports, and documentation of results and procedures. Recommend corrective or alternative actions as needed.
- Quality Commitment:
Maintain strict compliance with quality policies, standards, and procedures to ensure product safety and excellence. Foster a work environment that supports quality systems and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Education:
- Associate’s degree (AA) preferred or equivalent work experience in a related discipline.
Experience:
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical/electronic engineering activities.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, test equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency with tools, schematics, and analysis methods relevant to electrical/electronic systems.
Problem-Solving:
- Ability to independently identify, define, and resolve typical issues using proven processes.
Collaboration:
- Strong communication skills for sharing detailed information within teams and departments.
Quality Focus:
- A commitment to building quality into all aspects of work by adhering to compliance standards.
