QA Auditor – Class One
Location: Statesville, NC
Shift: M-F, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Salary: $18 - $22 per hour
We are seeking a Class One QA Auditor to join our team. This position is focused on ensuring the quality of products and processes, adhering to safety and workmanship standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality checks based on work instructions at each work center.
- Complete daily floor audits using the quality database.
- Review production records and perform outbound inspection duties as needed.
- Maintain communication with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Report quality problems to shift supervisor and operators.
- Contain or stop the process to prevent non-conforming material contamination.
- Follow up on previous shift reports and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction) for reviewing production records.
- Strong communication skills to report process/product problems.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 48 lbs regularly.
- Must be able to push or pull up to 1000 lbs with a pallet jack.
- Forklift operation experience preferred.
- Ability to use measuring devices by the end of the training period.
- CMM experience and knowledge of Print Reading & GD&T is a plus.
- Must be able to complete on-the-job training and become a “Grade 3” operator by the end of the probation period.
