Location: Clackamas, OR
Salary: $70K - $80K DOE Commission
Job Summary:
Join our growing team as an Remote IoT Outside Sales Representative focused on the fixed installation market. You'll drive adoption of our innovative IoT products by building customer relationships and providing technical expertise. Requires frequent travel (50-75%).
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of IoT products for centrifugal pump systems.
- Build strong customer relationships and provide technical support.
- Generate quotes, process orders, and assist with sales forecasting.
- Support customer installations and conduct product training.
- Interface between Sales and Engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot technical issues (software, electrical, mechanical).
- Learn and apply pump technical information (BOMs, curves).
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Sales, Engineering, Production, etc.).
- Develop a distribution network for fixed pump installations.
- Provide product and maintenance training to partners and end-users.
- Stay current on market trends and industry standards.
- Investigate field problems and manage warranty requests.
- Occasional off-hour support for critical issues.
- Frequent travel (50-75%).
Must-Have:
- Strong technical expertise in Pumps (preferably centrifugal pumps) and related systems.
- Proven outside sales experience.
- Excellent communication and customer focus.
- Ability to learn technical product details.
- Experience with electrical components (specifically: controls, automation, IoT, sensors, etc.)
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently (50-75%).
