Our client, a leader in sustainable energy solutions, is seeking a Sales Manager to join their team.
As a Sales Manager, you will be part of the Sales Department, supporting the growth of the company´s innovative solar smart pole solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building skills, a proactive sales approach, and the ability to effectively promote clean energy solutions to clients, especially in the government and city sectors.
Job Title: Sales Manager
Location: Metairie, LA
Pay: $50,000/yr-$60,000 commissions with On target earnings of $100k-$200k
Shift Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 8am-5pm - In office as this is primarily inbound sales.
What’s the Job?
- Develop and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients to drive long-term sales success.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and meetings to promote and sell the company’s solar smart pole solutions.
- Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics regularly.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align on goals, strategies, and opportunities for business growth.
What’s Needed?
- Sales experience, preferably within the energy or manufacturing industries.
- Good work history with a proven track record of sales success.
- Experience managing both new and existing accounts.
- A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to handle government/city contracts.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and product offerings to effectively position and sell the client´s solutions.
