Talent Acquisition Specialist
Empirical Systems Aerospace, Inc. (ESAero) is seeking a detail-oriented Talent Acquistion Specialist to join the Talent Team. ESAero is a growing aerospace company in the San Luis Obispo area and provides various services which include but are not limited to rapid system development, on-demand niche engineering, hands-on development/testing, and UAS aerospace system manufacturing.
**This position is fully on-site at Empirical System's Aerospace in San Luis Obispo, CA
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from job posting to offer stage, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
Partner with hiring managers to ensure candidates are moving through the hiring process effectively.
Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines, track progress, and ensure compliance with hiring policies.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze recruitment metrics, track hiring trends, and create reports.
Stay up to date with staffing trends and best practices to enhance recruitment strategies.
Ensure effective employer branding and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Collaborate with the Talent Manager and leadership to advance talent acquisition initiatives under rapidly changing conditions with minimal supervision.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet hiring goals.
Qualifications/Requirements:
5 years of full cycle recruiting experience.
5 years of experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, etc.).
Experience in both active and passive recruiting strategies.
Strong ability to leverage job boards, LinkedIn, and social media platforms for sourcing candidates.
Must be comfortable proactively reaching out to candidates and hiring managers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
Superior interpersonal and leadership skills.
Strong knowledge of staffing trends and best practices.
Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team.
