Laser Operator / Metal Fabricator

We are currently seeking a candidate with strong mechanical skills for our client in North Canton, OH!

Hours :

  • Mon-Fri 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm

Pay :

  • 28.00 / hr Based on experience

    • Responsibilities :

  • Prepare materials for cutting
  • Set up, run, load and unload CNC Laser Cutter
  • Adjust machine parameters as needed
  • Perform laser cutting operations to bend, cut, punch and bore through materials
  • Perform maintenance and machine repairs as needed
  • Check finished parts for quality and accuracy
  • Assist with deburring as needed
  • General labor duties as assigned

    • Requirements :

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 2 years' previous Laser experience
  • Previous experience with metal fabricating
  • Familiarity with finishing equipment such as grinders and sanders
  • Ability to read blueprints / mechanical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
