Quality Inspector
We are currently seeking candidates with inspection experience and knowledge of electrical wiring and hydraulic installation for a client in Kent, Ohio!
In this position, you will be responsible for in-process inspection, final inspection, control of nonconforming material, and record keeping within the Quality Department.

- OT 6am-11am Fridays

19.00 / hourKey Responsibilities :
Read and interpret part prints and air / electric schematics.Use various types of inspection equipment (i.e., ultrasonic thickness tester, digital calipers, levels, measuring tape, digital camera, torque wrenches, basic computer skills)Visually inspect material or product for cracks, pits, corrosion, poor finish, incomplete welds, weld splatter and sharp edges.Inspect and measure various types of material and products and from various manufacturing processes such as : castings, stampings, laser cut blanks, press brake, welding, sub assemblies, electrical components, hydraulics, cables, plating, etc.Compare product with part prints, schematics, build specifications, quality standards and approved samples to ensure product quality and assembly suitability.Documentation of inspections in both written and electronic form.Identify nonconforming material and notify appropriate personnel and route material to the next step.Minimum Requirements :
1 years / experience in an inspection roleHigh School diploma or general equivalencyGeneral understanding of air / electric operationsAbility to read and interpret build prints and air / electric schematicsStrong understanding of weld qualityAbility to use and read inspection toolsBasic skills computer skillsAbility to work in confined spaces, climb ladders and work at heights.Ability to lift 50lbs.Must be willing and able to complete an online training course reviewing applicable hazmat laws related to the inspection and testing of cargo tanks transporting hazardous materials.Benefits :
