Sr. Accounting Specialist
We are seeking experienced Accounting professionals for a Sr. Accounting Specialist with a customer in the Cortland / Warren area that offers world-class technology products to guarantee excellence in metals production.
In this position you will manage, process and direct all cycle counts for 3 plants with various inventory and warehouse management systems.

Coordinates and serves as auditor for annual inventory physical counts, audits random count sheets and recountsResponsible for all EOM inventory reconciliationsReviews inventory items with reserves and works with team to scrap or dispositionOversees all activities with Accounts Payable and Vendor Master as part of vendor master teamGathers all required documents to create / change vendorsReviews and process AP invoices not being entered on TauliaReviews GR / IR to resolve issues so vendors can be paidGenerates all AR invoices, create and post all invoices, track and enter all invoices that need to be submitted on customer portals for paymentReview all WBS elements to make sure they are in FIN status with no open PO'sAnalyze costs posting tor cost center to review for accuracy and creates correcting journal entriesPrepares monthly reports on purchases, vendor performance analysis, rework activities and costs, analyze indirect and misc labor and management review, and on time delivery reportsWorks with team to create the CAR and provide all documents necessary submit for approvalMonitors open projects to ensure progress payments are made on time and in line with approved budgetGathers requested documents for internal and external audit requestsMinimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in AccountingFive years of Accounting experience in role performing all functionsIndependent, takes ownershipGood communication skillsStrong analytical skillsSAP experience preferredBenefits :
