Fabricator
We are currently seeking candidates with metal fabrication experience for a client in Kent, Ohio!
In this position, you will operate a burn table, seamer, brake press, band saw, and other equipment used in the fabrication of tank trailer parts.

Shift:
6am-4pm Mon-Thurs
OT 6am-11am Fridays
Pay:
$18 / hour
Key Responsibilities:
Learn and cross-train on all fab equipment and machinery.
Prepare and run complex bend setups and forming operations. This includes custom punch/die
modification used in combination with other tooling (either standard or custom).
Complex programming using all features of the press brake including bending at angles, step bends,
proper back gauge transfer between steps, delays, etc.
Perform print reading and geometric tolerances related to the finished part.
Work in an efficient and timely manner.
Keep work area clean, including machine surfaces, at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
HS Diploma or general equivalency (GED) required.
6 month previous applicable experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of welding a plus.
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Must have a full understanding of print reading and geometric tolerances
Ability to prepare and run complex bend setups and forming operations
Ability to cross-train on all fab equipment and machinery.
Thorough understanding of flat pattern layout.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders and work at heights.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
