- Make an Impact! The Lead, Pharmacy Technician, Ambulatory uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information to process prescriptions. Assists the pharmacists in performing technical duties related to the distribution of drugs to patients. Monitors medication inventory levels and places orders to restock. Supports pharmacological services by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, placing, and expediting orders, reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, calculating quantities, compounding sterile and non-sterile products, and other pharmaceutical therapies. This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job description.

Position: Lead Pharmacy Technician, Ambulatory- 40 hours/week
Shift: Day Shift- 8a-4:30pm, Monday- Friday, occasional Saturday
Experience:
Previous hospital or retail pharmacy technician experience preferred.
Education:
High School or GED required.
Licensures/Certifications:
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required (PTCB), Immunization certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
