Job Summary
We are seeking 1st and 2nd shift Thermal Print Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various printing machines and ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of graphic design principles, typography, and color management.
Duties
- Operate and maintain printing equipment, including digital printers, screen printing machines, and CNC machinery.
- Prepare files for print production, ensuring proper layout design and prepress processes are followed.
- Monitor print quality throughout the production process, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.
- Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and provide input on graphic design elements.
- Conduct routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Manage color management processes to ensure accurate color reproduction across different media.
- Assist in fabricating printed materials as needed, ensuring all products meet quality standards before delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in graphic design, typography, layout design, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with machining processes and CNC operations is a plus.
- Strong understanding of prepress techniques and screen printing methods.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients regarding project needs and specifications.
