Our client is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join their team in Washington. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, ensuring that inventory is managed effectively and that products are prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Build and package products according to company standards, ensuring quality control.
- Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock accurately.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus.
- Forklift and reach truck experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
