Our production operations roles could include multiple positions and may provide support to different departments depending on needs of the plant.
Location: Carroll, IA
Shift: 2nd 3:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Overtime may be required on a regular basis. Overtime is generally worked on Friday 2nd shift.
RESPONSIBILITIES could include:
- Variety of Production roles in our plant
- Reading job orders and blueprints
- Making setups on assigned machines, according to blueprints
- Cutting and bending metal to appropriate lengths
- Stage product for shipment and forklift driving
- Foaming panels
- Carpentry and Framing panels
- Assembly of products
- Competently running most of the machines in the department
- Be able to become proficient on machinery
- ALL other duties as assigned to help out your teammates!
REQUIREMENTS
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Be able to lift 50-75 lbs on a continual basis
- Be able to push and pull carts
- Be able to use repetitive motions
- Have basic math skills and can use a calculator
- Be able to reach overhead frequently
- Be able to stand on concrete for up to 10 hours a day
- Be able to read a tape measure and other basic measuring tools
QUALIFICATIONS
- Willingness to learn
- Team player
- Production or manufacturing plant experience helpful!
