We are seeking a customer service representative for our client in the logistics industry. The Customer Service Representative will be working in the Receiving Department and they are responsible for providing clerical support for the warehouse’s receiving operations. This role involves coordinating and managing incoming shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing, and serving as a point of contact between the warehouse and customers.
Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Medley, FL
Pay Rate: $18HR
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with receiving and warehouse teams to ensure all inbound shipments are processed efficiently and accurately.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding incoming shipments, responding to inquiries, and providing updates on delivery status.
• Assist in preparing and verifying receiving documents, such as packing lists, bills of lading, and purchase orders.
• Input shipment data into the warehouse management system (WMS) accurately and promptly, ensuring records are updated and accessible.
• Maintain accurate and organized files of all received shipments and customer communications.
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of customer service experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a receiving department.
• Must be fluent in both English & Spanish.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with WMS software.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds.
