Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees. Duties
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in hours worked, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates.
- Perform account reconciliation for payroll-related accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
- Utilize Swipeclock or similar timekeeping systems to track employee hours and attendance accurately.
- Prepare reports for clients regarding payroll expenses and trends.
- Stay informed about governmental accounting regulations and tax requirements affecting payroll processing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in payroll processing or related accounting roles is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels of different organizations.
