Position : Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist
Location : Kahului, HI
Pay : $26.50 / hour
Type : Full-time; Contract
Schedule : Monday to Friday, Day Shift
Employers Options is seeking an Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description :
- Accounts Payable :
- Set up new vendors, ensuring all required information is gathered with the purchaser.
- Review, reconcile, and input invoices and supporting documents.
- Ensure proper approvals and documentation (W9 forms, purchase orders, invoices, or receipts) are received for payments and reimbursements.
- Process timely and accurate payments to vendors, including checks and ACH transactions.
- Monitor and ensure all outstanding invoices are paid on time, researching discrepancies as needed.
- Assist with AP inquiries and prepare annual 1099s.
- Accounts Receivable :
- Manage and update customer account files, including contact information and credit applications.
- Receive, reconcile, and apply customer payments, ensuring daily sales reports match payments.
- Prepare bank deposits and monitor A / R aging reports, running reports as needed.
- Perform collection calls on delinquent accounts or send them to a collection agency.
- Reconcile the company’s operating account daily and maintain assigned forecasting spreadsheets.
- Handle lease and supply orders for the copy and postage machines and assist with AR inquiries.
- May assist with posting cash deposits or credit card payments, processing fuel credits, and payroll deductions.
- Keep the Controller and CFO informed of any accounting-related issues promptly.
