Geotechnical Engineer

Position: Geotechnical Engineer

Location: Wailea, HI

Pay: $40/hour

Education: Minimum B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with emphasis on specific coursework in geotechnical engineering.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm

Job Description: .

• Manage financial and technical aspects of projects.
• Plan and supervise soil exploration, logging, and classification.
• Conduct soil tests in the field and laboratory when needed.
• Schedule laboratory testing to evaluate soil types, behavior, and engineering properties.
• Lead and manage engineering technicians/inspectors.
• Lead and manage the drilling crew.
• Prepare geotechnical engineering site investigation reports.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Capability to work with multiple disciplines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Be able to lift and carry 50 lb.
• Must have a valid Driving License.
