Noxious Weed Technician
Do you enjoy hiking in the mountains Then we have the job for you!
Get paid for hiking Mt St Helens and see areas closed to normal hikers.
This is a summer job starting early June and will go until October (depending on weather and your availability). Your day includes paid travel time to and from the mountain. Company pays for study and preparing for passing state test for herbicide application license. You will carry a 25–35-pound pack and will map and treat noxious weeds and prepare reports upon return to Kelso.
Hourly pay: $18.25 an hour (Plus $.50 per hour raise when licensed)
Shift: Will work 4 - 10-hour days (that’s a 3-day weekend)
Qualifications: Must be 18 or over and some positions require a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
