What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powder Coat Masker position at Employers Overload?
The Powdercoat Masker helps ensure safety, quality and production standards are met for our products. This role involves applying powdercoat masking tape, plugs and jigs to manufactured steel parts.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately completed all required paperwork on time
- Handle delicate parts carefully to maintain their appearance
- Report any issues to the Department Lead or Supervisor promptly
- Communicate effectively with colleagues including engineers and managers
- Follow all quality standards in the department
- Inspect part for quality and efficiency, reporting any problems quickly
- Work safely and efficiently while producing parts
- Adhere to the Employee Handbook including attendance and teamwork
Requirements:
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be detail oriented
- Must have the ability to multi-task
- Must have good basic math skills
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:30am-2:00pm (Overtime as needed which usually goes to 4:00pm)
Payrate: $16.50
