We are seeking a skilled and organized Claims Professional to join our team as a Clinical Services Manager. As a California workers comp adjuster, you will be responsible for handling claims with low to moderate medical and indemnity benefit exposure, working closely with internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure timely and accurate resolution of cases.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete life cycle of workers' compensation claims, from intake through final resolution.
- Conduct thorough investigations into claims, identifying potential issues and developing corrective plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including defense attorneys, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, providing regular updates on claim status and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in claims management, preferably in a workers' compensation setting.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Experience with case management software and systems a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly.
