Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Carry out commercial cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the upkeep of the building.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness consistently.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage is desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
